Favour Farm just outside Great Brak River is a regenerative organic farm which aims to supply the local community with the healthiest, nutrient dense food. We work together with nature to recreate biodiversity, build topsoil and sequester carbon in the process. Our focus is on soil health as we believe that soil is the basis of human health. The soil was cleansed of accumulated toxins for nearly a year before vegetables were planted, using only natural compost and mulch. As the soil is well composted, it stays wetter longer and so less water is used. A mixed farm with animals, also fed naturally, providing the manure for the compost, is in the pipeline.
Favour Farm wants to supply directly to consumers to ensure freshness. By doing this, we aim to build a lasting relationship with our customers and invite you to meet us and give us feedback on our products and services. Vegetables can be ordered online and deliveries are planned to surrounding areas.
The farm also offers three lovely self-catering cottages and good fishing in the dam.
