Fragrance Fest 2019
On Saturday 9 March it is Fragrance Fest day, the once a year occasion when all venues on the scenic Fragrance Route open their doors! Come and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, countryside ambiance, fresh air, food stalls and art and craft on this circular meander halfway between Mossel Bay and George. Make it a PROE safari: stop to buy local products and experience a variety of tastes along the way.
Now in its fifth year, this unique little Fest has become a firm favourite among locals. This year there will be ten stops to visit – check the different opening times and details of each venue, and plan your trip accordingly. Bring a cooler bag and picnic blanket, a hat for the sun and an umbrella in case of rain. Toilets are available at almost all venues and, in case of bad weather, indoor facilities as well.
CASH only, no credit cards. See www.proemb.co.za for more details. Printed programmes with a map available late February at the Great Brak Museum, the tourist office at De Dekke, and at businesses in the Midbrak area.
