Community & Living

The Association was established in July 2018. Meeting on a monthly basis we work with Ward Councilors to resolve issues which effect all residents. We are investigating the increase in heavy duty trucks using Long St and their potential danger. Plans to organize a better place for casual workers to gather where municipal toilets are available are progressing.  We aim to support other organizations which benefit our town, namely the Conservancy Group, the Business Community and the Neighbourhood Watch. We met with Aneli Gerber, Chief Operations Officer of Mossel Bay Tourism.  She has undertaken to provide exposure for Great Brak River on their Website and to provide us with tear-off maps as well as maps of hiking and cycling trails in the area, professionally redrawn and designed.

Our Facebook page is: Great Brak River Ratepayers Association. Please participate and share this with your contacts. If there are any items of interest which you feel should be posted or issues you wish us to investigate, please send us an E-Mail on rpa.greatbrak@gmail.com

The Mossel Bay Municipality recognize and appreciate the efforts made by our Association. They welcome and encourage community participation which is considered a benefit for all.
