ROOIKAT DEPOLYMERISATION PLANT

At the time of going to print, news on the Rooikat plant on the outskirts of Great Brak River is as follows:

  1. All license appeals have been rejected.
  2. The Public Protector was contacted and is currently investigating the lack of Public Participation that took place.
  3. The way forward is to get a large enough percentage of citizen signatures on our petition to state our opposition against this plant.

Members of the public are invited to support this by signing the petition. To add your voice, please contact Annalie Barbolini at barbolini@telkomsa.net or rpa.greatbrak@gmail.com

More information on the process is available on the Facebook page of the Great Brak River Ratepayers Association.
