To celebrate the sixth birthday of The Post, the second GB Walk took place during glorious autumn weather on 18 April 2022. This year’s event was sponsored by Cool Ideas, voted the Number 1 ISP provider in 2021 and specialing in fibre internet and Home & Decor, a one-stop shop for all your architectural, design and home finishing needs. A huge thank you to them for making this event possible!
Walkers and runners started arriving from 16h00, many sporting colourful wigs and other decorations (including ribbons on some pooches) in keeping with the theme of a “Bad Hair Day”. Everyone received colourful shoelaces and water as gifts and Cool Ideas also announced that there would be a lucky draw for a powerbank, umbrellas and cool bags. After the lucky winners were announced everyone took to the streets. There was much banter, laughter and general good vibes as people made their way around the Brak. Twin Trees Restaurant entered 21 staff members in the event and challenged all local businesses to beat this during the next event in 2023.
