19 years and counting!
While moving through time I have come to change my understanding of celebration. It has become much more attainable to rejoice in daily moments of joy than to aspire to big celebrations. Just as focusing on small steps to reach a goal, staying in the present, remaining humble, surrounding oneself with positive friends and interpreting challenging moments and an opportunity to gain experience and excel. All the above play a supportive role in getting through a moment, a day, a week, a month – while navigating life.
April is a special month for me on a personal level, but also because this year we celebrate the 19th anniversary of The Post. With great gratitude to Margi who laid the foundation through establishing and overseeing The Great Brak Post for ten years, we were able to move forward, while having to bring about changes to remain relevant and current.
Today we are thankful to still be moving onward after 19 years, focusing on positive, uplifting, educational and informative articles. Our readers are a great encouragement with their feedback and an eye for appreciation. Not only on the exciting front page which we select monthly, but the content as well. The Post will not be able to live on without our monthly advertisers, readers, article contributors and the dependable formidable support team of Karen, Heinz, Jack, Helen, Surien, Willem and our more than hundred and fifty-five outlets where we distribute The Post once a month. Making The Post a success story of team effort within and with the community in which we function.
I salute each one who makes it all possible and who contributes to my growth through being involved in The Post.
